Hurricane Katrina has, for all intents and purposes, destroyed one of the most wonderful of all our American cities, New Orleans. It has been five days since Katrina hit and the Federal Government has no idea what to do about it. Our wonderfully absent President George Bush said yesterday "we had no idea this would happen" (or some such rubbish). Yet there have been published studies and news reports over the years that predicted exactly this kind of a catastrophic disaster.

So often we hear that our business men and women are greedy and lack any sense of morality or integrity. Some folks believe that it is because we have as a culture strayed away from God, however as soon as you say something like that, you witness a Kenneth Lay type from Enron, tell us how devout he is?

Due to illegal immigration issues in the United States and the Mexican GovernmentÂ’s inability to do the right thing, we now have serious issues which can only be solved by creating a large buffer zone between our countries which is no less that 300 miles wide. This buffer zone must become a US Territory like Puerto Rick or Guam and no longer a territory of Mexico. I wish there were another way to deal with this, but there is not.

Perhaps time and chance never caused our paths to cross so IÂ’ve never had an introduction to Supreme Court nominee John Roberts. It may also be that relatively obscure gospel preachers like me and larger than life guys like Roberts donÂ’t have much of a chance at meeting outside of being given four or five extra lifetimes.
